Data Analyst | Data Engineer
I am a tenacious data-analyst, problem-solver, and self-starter. I have five years of experience on political campaigns, using data insights to develop highly effective donor-targeting strategies and building coalitions from the ground up. I am motivated by problems that need solved and don’t shy away from the technical side of analysis. I am always looking for new challenges in the data world, and I’m excited to continue to develop and expand on my analytical skills in my next project.

I am well-versed in Tableau, Excel, and PowerBI for data visualization, and have experience using Python, SQL, and R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. That said, I am actively expanding my skill set and am always open to learning something new!
Projects
Bike Share Redistribution Analysis
Performed a high-level analysis of Divvy Bikes (Chicago’s bikeshare service) to develop a plan for redistributing bikes from stations with too many to stations with too few. Joined multiple datasets using PostgreSQL and carried out complex data wrangling and in order to identify the stations with the biggest disparities in supply and demand of bikes. Created interactive spider maps in Tableau to pinpoint the most feasible bike redistribution routes and made specific and actionable recommendations for balancing supply and demand.
Analysis of the US Wind Energy Industry
Gathered and analyzed data from multiple sources to explore the viability of wind energy and compare the performance of industry leaders. Extracted real time weather data in Python using an API key to analyze wind speeds across the country and identify potential locations for future wind turbines.
Analysis of US Public Transit
Analyzed public transit data for major US cities and evaluated transit systems based on several key performance indicators including ridership and geographic scope. Extracted geospatial data of bus and train routes using an API key in Python in order to examine the scope of transit systems. Presented findings through a series of interactive Tableau visuals and identified cities that stood out within each respective KPI.

Graduating August 2023
A 12-week immersive data analytics program, which covered programming languages such as Python and SQL as well as data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Excel, and Tableau. Completed four major projects including an analysis of the NYC Airbnb market, a Bike-share redistribution plan, an assessment of the viability of wind energy, and a comprehensive analysis of US public transit systems.
